Participation in our ministries and organizations gives us the opportunity to use our time and talents to build up our parish.
Altar and Prayer Society. This is a group of men and women who clean the sanctuary of the Church. Our women care for altar linens and albs. Currently, we have four groups who take a turn monthly. During holiday times, all groups come together and share this responsibility. Mass is offered at various times throughout the year for the members of this group. If anyone is interested in helping please contact Fr. Genuardi at 610-828-0101.
Altar Servers. Girls and Boys in grades 4 through 8 and high school, in Catholic or public school, needed to serve Mass on Sundays, for weddings, and for funerals.
Adult Servers. Men and Women to serve at Weekday Masses.
Adult Choir. A dedicated group of people who like to sing and praise God.
Cantor. Has God given you a gift for singing? How about trying out the ministry of leading the music at Sunday Mass?
Conshohocken Catholic Youth Organization - CYO. Junior CYO is open to boys and girls grades 5 to 8 from both Catholic and Public Schools. The children participate in sports as well as social and religious activities. CYO is a great way for our children to interact with each other as well as learning the fundamentals of being a team player.
Cursillo Movement. The Cursillo is an encounter with Christ. Correctly applied and overseen, the Cursillo Movement can have very positive results in the spiritual revitalization of the world. The Christ likeness in a few good people is contagious. The transference of Christ's values to others in one's family, school, place of business, etc., is the Christianizing of environments the Cursillo promotes. The goal of the movement is that Christ be the prime influence in society. So it is said that the PRIMARY OBJECTIVES of the Cursillo Movement are to develop in adult Christians a consciousness of their power and mission to become leaders in the work of Christian renewal, and to sustain them as they provide a Christian leaven in civic, social and economic life. This 'Christianizing of environments' is what the Cursillo Movement is all about. This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month. For further details contact Joe & Lynn Carr at 610-825-6257.
Eucharistic Ministers. Special Ministers of the Eucharist serve for a three year term. They unite the community in church with the elderly, sick and shut-in by bringing the Eucharist to their homes. They also assist in distributing the Host and the Cup at Mass.
Lectors. Ministry of proclaiming God's Word at Sunday Mass.
Pastoral Council. The Pastoral Council is a consultative body that advises and assists the pastor in areas of concern. Members of the Council are representatives of the entire parish recognizing and reflecting the parish diversity. They meet four times per year or as needed. This is an elected position with a two year term.
Sponsors. To companion the candidates through their journey by prayer, support and example.
St. Rita Sodality. The St. Rita Sodality attends the 10:00 AM Mass the Third Sunday of each month. The Sodality promotes devotion to St. Rita. The group also hosts the annual St. Rita Banquet held in May and other social events throughout the year. If anyone is interested in becoming a member please contact the Rectory at 610-828-0101.
Senior Citizens. Membership in this group is geared toward ages 55 and up. This wonderful group meets each Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. They provide mutual support and companionship to each other and host social events throughout the year.
